FINE ART - 4D
FINE ART - 4D
This film is a representation of how body can be used to define space around us. We used our hands as a way of measuring and defining space. The scene with a woman walking with an umbrella represents s famous artwork - The Great War, by Rene Magritte. Lastly, the clips showing three figures in the elevator helps depict space in a small, compacted space. In real life, this film will be exhibited in an art gallery as an installation. We specifically used our cameras (smartphones) to record and film the different scenes. Since we were still not ver familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro, we decided to use IMovie to edit the clips.

This film is a video that I created for extension week. The main aim of this film is to show how smartphones has changed identity. Instead of expressing ourselves through social media by posting and taking selfies, it has led us to a completely different world. In fact a 'fake world' where the individual begins to lose her own identity, allowing social media to define her identity. This film will be exhibited in an art gallery as an installation. A QR code is created to initiate interaction with viewers; they can scan the QR codes to watch the video.
Please refer to extension week project page for further details.
LOST LETTERS - ILLUSTRATION (STOP-MOTION ANIMATION)
This video is a short animation - made for the project "lost letters". It depicts an ant eater, planning to initiate a sneaky attack to find food. Please refer to contextual practise page for more details and further information. The intended audience for this animation would be for children specifically as it is both humorous and and enjoyable to watch. I believe that it would be best suited for children at the ages of 5-10. It is a fun way learning about the process of animals surviving in nature.
FASHION COMMUNICATION
A short video showing all the outcomes that was created in the DO/UNDO/REDO project for fashion communication. The audio behind this video is composed by me.
